Mission

As parents, our task is not to simply train “good” children, but children who truly love God with all their hearts, souls, minds, and strength. Parents are to strive to raise children who have a vibrant, personal relationship with the LORD Jesus and whose lives will be bright and shining lights penetrating the darkness around them. As Christian parents we seek to raise children who enthusiastically embrace the truth of the Gospel, children who love righteousness and hate evil, children who will be used by God to change the world and not conform to it.

“Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is –his good, pleasing and perfect will” (Romans 12:2).

LIfeline Hour Sunday Mornings

Sunday Morning High School LifeLine Hour Bible Study is one way for our students in the Senior High age range to get connected here at Good Shepherd. This Sunday morning Bible study provides the opportunity for young adults to grow in their faith and to meet other Christians. The focus of Sunday mornings is to dig deep into God's Word and learn what He has to say about our lives. It is adult led, but student driven and meets every Sunday morning at 9:15 AM in our youth room.

Wednesday Evening Student Impact

Wednesday Student Impact is another way for students to stay connected here at Good Shepherd. Student Impact is a challenging opportunity for students to deal with current cultural issues that they face in their world today. The focus is to open up commonly held beliefs with social issues and to apply God's Word to shape how a Christian ought to view them. Student Impact meets Wednesday nights following Pizza Café at 6:00pm for an hour and half.
