Why groups?

Ephesians 4:15-16

Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.

Desire to Grow …We strive to honor God as He is inspiring us to serve and love others.

Growing implies change: change in our attitudes, character, disciplines, and choices. Desiring to grow means we will continually place ourselves where we will be challenged spiritually such as Bible studies and small groups. We must move beyond our spiritual status quo and go deeper with God. We must move beyond simple devotional thoughts and seek out the deeper truth of God’s Word.

Good Shepherd’s groups exist to develop passionate people for Christ. A smaller group allows for better interaction, enables closer friendships, and matches the person to their needs.

We would love for you and your family to be involved in group ministry. Please take times to go through our web area and check out the things that are going on at Good Shepherd.
