Outreach

The people of Good Shepherd believe that to be a follower of Christ we need to be Christ to others. Here are ways we can impact the world around us:

Centennial community Food Shelf

Good Shepherd volunteers serve once a month at the Food Shelf keeping the Food Shelf working properly for a community in need. If you are interested in serving in this way please contact Darlene Leiding

Saint Andrews Family Shelter

Good Shepherd sponsors one week of volunteer service each quarter at the St. Andrew’s Family Shelter in Hugo.  After completing a basic background check and watching a short video, volunteers can sign up for either a dinner shift or overnight shift at the shelter.  This is a great way to get involved in your community and serve our neighbors in need!  Use the links below to get more information and if you have any questions, please contact the Office.

Operation Christmas Child

Good Shepherd members pack shoebox gifts each year before Christmas to bless children in need around the world. Parents often use the project to teach their kids about giving. Click on the image above to learn more.
